The INGAZI Ambassadors Recruitment Cohort 2, in collaboration with UNICEF and Generation Unlimited, has been officially introduced by the Government of Rwanda, via the Ministry of Youth and Arts Rwanda. This is an exciting opportunity that aims at 50 young leaders who are very passionate and willing to change their communities and assist other youth to enjoy career opportunities.

What is the INGAZI Programme?

The INGAZI Programme is a government-sponsored online initiative aimed at addressing one of the largest youth issues in Rwanda, namely; the lack of alignment between education and job market opportunities.

A large number of young graduates do not have jobs due to either deficiency in job ready skills or lack of access to good career advice. This disparity retards individual progress and national progress.

INGAZI is able to solve this by providing:

  • Free skills development and accredited programs in the high demand areas.
  • Career guidance equipment to assist young people in comprehending the employment markets.
  • Jobs, internship and entrepreneurship grants.

But online platforms do not suffice on its own- particularly to young people in rural or less digitalized locations. This is where INGAZI Ambassadors come in.

INGAZI Ambassadors role.

Being an INGAZI Ambassador means that you are the conduit between opportunities and youth in your district. It is your job to make sure that not a single youth is left behind.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting peers to enroll on the INGAZI platform.
  • Helping with the completion of courses and development of skills.
  • Counseling the youth in career and employment.
  • Marketing opportunities via community outreach and social media.
  • This position is not merely volunteerism but making a tangible change within your community.

1. Career Development Skills

You will be able to gain practical experience in:

 Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply to the INGAZI Ambassadors Recruitment 2026, you will need to:

  • Be 18–30 years old

Reside in either of these districts:

  • Nyagatare
  • Gatsibo
  • Bugesera
  • Rwamagana
  • Gicumbi
  • Be a minimum of Advanced Level (A-Level) certificate.
  • Take three Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses in the INGAZI platform.
  • Fluent in Kinyarwanda, fluent in English.
  • Complete INGAZI Career Hub profile.

Be available to serve a 6-month term beginning June 1, 2026.

Youth leadership or community work experience is a bonus.

 Monthly Goals and Outlooks.

The INGAZI Ambassadors will be required to achieve certain performance objectives:

  • Enroll at least 167 youth every month.
  • Fund 25 course completions each month.
  • One job or internship placement in every two months.

It is obligatory to take part in monthly webinars. Such meetings assist ambassadors:

  • Track performance
  • Share experiences
  • Get mentoring and feedback.

Moreover, ambassadors should adhere to rigid principles of safeguards, all the interaction should be respectful, inclusive, and safe, particularly in the vulnerable groups.

Fostering Inclusion and Equal Opportunity.

  • Youth with disabilities
