Rwanda Interlink Transport Company Ltd (Ritco) is currently seeking qualified and committed candidates for the position of Driver. Ritco is a public-private entity focused on providing sustainable public transport solutions for both rural and urban populations.

 Recruitment Process

Successful applicants will undergo a structured selection process, including:

  • An oral interview.
  • A practical driving assessment.

Candidates meeting the required standards will enter a Driver Reserve Pool. Drivers in this pool will receive a 20-day free refresher training to standardize safety and service quality before deployment based on operational needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in all Driver Reserve Pool training.
  • Operate buses safely and efficiently to transport passengers and luggage.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and fueling.
  • Conduct basic vehicle checks and report mechanical issues to the RITCO Garage.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and employer regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience as a Bus Driver.
  • License: Valid driving license category D1.
  • Age: Must be between 21 and 45 years old.
  • Language: Ability to read and write at least one official language used in Rwanda.
  • Skills: Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Testing: Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test from RFI.
